Black Bear Hunting

Black bear hunting in northern Ontario is our specialty at Oskondaga River Outfitters. If you are looking for a quality hunting experience, we feature fully guided hunts that have been baited for 1-1.5 months prior to your arrival and are guaranteed to be active. We assist with the tracking and retrieval of your animal along with skinning and freezing.

We have one of the largest Bear Management Areas in our district. We do not over harvest and have a great abundance of quality animals. We do everything possible to ensure that your hunt is successful. Bears are highly intelligent, with a keen sense of sight and smell. You must be prepared to do your part. Our hunters can enjoy a combined vacation with fishing in the mornings and hunting in the afternoons.

Bow, rifle, and black powder hunting is available.

Bear season is from August 15 - September 15.
